Incontro con l'esperto (Rivanazzano Terme, PV - 27/02/2025)

We have organised with the help of the Enocuriosi association a technical tasting in Rivanazzano Terme (PV) at Selvatico restaurant on Thursday, February 27th 2025.

The tasting, titled “A matter of cork? A matter of oxygen?“, will be led by Andrea Picchioni and agronomist Beppe Zatti and will focus on the effect of the different closures and the use of oxygen or other gases on the wine.

First tasting – “A matter of cork?”
• Rosso d’Asia 2016 – Tappo Diam closure
• Rosso d’Asia 2016 – Tappo Nomacorc closure
• Rosso d’Asia 2016 – Natural cork closure (single-piece)

Second tasting – “A matter of oxygen?”
• Rosso d’Asia 2020 – Bottling with oxygen
• Rosso d’Asia 2020 – Bottling with pre-evacuation and nitrogen compensation
• Rosso d’Asia 2020 – Bottling with nitrogen saturation

After the two tasting sessions (starting at 06:45 PM), it will be possible to dinner at the restaurant at 09:00 PM (each course of the menu will be paired with our wines).

The price of the double tasting is euro 20,00 and the price of the dinner is euro 30,00.

The proceeds of the tasting will be donated to the Pavia-based Casa del Giovane association.
