We will donate our wines for a charity event hosted by the Cappelleria wine bar in Voghera (PV) on Wednesday, December 18th 2024.
The event is an aperitivo featuring our Buttafuoco and the Metodo Classico sparkling wines by Monsupello, the bread and focaccia produced by Fabio Lodigiani, the Salame di Varzi DOP by Dalla Terra, Il Salame (Bagnaria, PV), the ravioli by Bottega del Pastaio (Ponte Nizza, PV), the meats selected by Angolo della Carne (Voghera, PV), the vegetables by Orto & Frutta Iabichino (Voghera, PV) and the Panettone by Iria pastry shop (Voghera, PV).
The tasting aims at raising funds for the Joy for Children non-profit organisation, which helps Syrian refugee children living on the Turkish-Syrian border. The name of the tasting (“S-Iria”) is a pun that establishes a connection between Syria and Oltrepò Pavese (Iria is the ancient name of the town of Voghera).
